Hi guys, so today I put this together for what I would like to wear the next time I go to the movies. I like the idea of being comfortable and having that fashionista look so I went with what my gut told me. The top has a nice design of an elephant with patterns on the inside and a gold rhinestone collar border that I think brings the blouse together. The jeans are vintage wash high waist jeans that look great on a pair of long legs and the footwear are a pair of white trainers that really make the jeans stand out. For this outfit, you have to find mutual colors for hair accessories so a white bow (mutual to trainers) can be used or a pair of blue rose clips (or any blue hair clips) (mutual to jeans) as well. The bag is a small leather cross over bag which looks great when you are wearing denim. Well, I hope you liked this outfit and I hope you have a great day!

This Is Us!

One more thing! Today some exciting news has been released by One Direction. The full "This Is Us" movie trailer has been released! The movie officially comes out on August 30th and I will be there right when the clock strikes 12 am! That isn't all though. The movie also features their new single "Best Song Ever" which is available to pre-order now! Just seeing how far this band has come since 2010 has been really life changing, not only for them but for the fans as well. I am proud to say I have been here since 2010 and I have had the privilege to watch these 5 boys grow and slowly conquer the music charts and the hearts of many fans. Every time they win an award or something just unbelievably amazing happens, they always tweet their thanks and gratitude. They always try to interact with fans thinking that its the least they can do when they are actually making that person's life so much better. Also, seeing all the good they have done in the world, like Comic Relief and going to Africa and the amount of money and time they have donated to charity is unbelievable. What I really like about them is that they know how fortunate they are and they never take it for granted and they haven't changed. They are still some goofy guys that laugh when someone says a stupid pun.
 In just 3 years this band has done a lot in this world and I wish to see a lot more of them in the future. Louis, Zayn, Liam, Niall and Harry have yet to disappoint me and I hope that they keep doing what they love to do not just for the fans but for themselves. I'm not a fan of One Direction for their looks or for their fame, I'm a fan for their hearts and their music, and just for being role models. If you haven't seen the trailer yet, it is down below! Monsters University!

Hi guys! So I finally did something with my life! Yesterday, my friends and I decided to go to the movies to see none other than Monsters University! So first things first, deciding what to wear!

I went casual. Nothing fancy. I wore a purple/grey baseball shirt with buttons, blue skinny jeans, and black TOMS. My hair was first tied up in a high ponytail but as I always do, I removed it and placed it to my sides. 

When we got to our venue we had to decide at what time to see the movie to buy our tickets. It took a while at first because my friends are always hungry so making time to eat at Johnny Rockets was a crucial part of our schedule. So we decided to go see the one at 6:20 pm and eat right after it was over.

My friends and I had about an hour to do whatever we wanted before the movie started so one of them recommended that we go to this Frozen Yogurt shop across the street. We gave it a shot and let me tell you, when you walk in there, it's a little intimidating. This is because its not like an ice cream shop where they have all the flavors up and you tell the employee what you want so they get it for you. Not at all. The employee is right in the middle of the shop in a circular stand with the cashier and all the devices she/he needs close by. Then all around her, starting from the left there are the containers for the frozen yogurt and then there are a variety of flavors of frozen yogurt that you can choose from. After you get all the flavors you want, you keep moving to your right and there is a whole stand filled with different toppings for your delicious treat. From fruit, to candy, to chocolate, there is an abundance of things to enjoy your creamy dessert with. When you have finished making all your selections, you go to the cashier and there he/she weighs your frozen yogurt and determines the price. I have to say, I would like to visit that place again, not just for the fro-yo but also for the chalk boards that they have for you to leave your erasable mark!

When we were finished enjoying our own versions of delicious, we headed of to Barnes & Nobles. This place is like a second home to me. Its full of books, games, magazines and it has its own little Starbucks! We walked in just to browse but then one of my friends said that she wants to find the book we have to read for school over the summer. Now, I also have to read the book but I figured I'd wait to come with my parents so they can buy it for me and I wouldn't have to spend the limited amount of money I have since I'm jobless. So we found the book and then something catches my eye.. I speed walked up to a stand full of toys as my friends watched me curiously. They walked up to me to see a big creepy smile on my face and a stuffed Dalek in my hand! They couldn't even get a word in before the word "EXTERMINATE!' was in the air. Unfortunately, the talking Dalek cost about $35 and little old me is on a budget.. So instead I settled for a little something cheaper that is based on my other little obsession, One Direction!

Its just a 2014 Calender, but believe me when I say I will never ask you what day it is in 2014!

Finally, we went to see Monsters University! I must say I was quite relieved when we weren't the only teenagers in the theater! I mean its quite understandable that the older kids want to watch a movie that has a connection to their childhood memories. I have been raving for this movie ever since the trailer came out and I really recommend it for anyone and everyone out there! There are many laughs and many climax points in this movie that are fun for everyone! I was really satisfied with what I had payed for when the movie had come to an end. I don't want to give anything away but Mike is seriously so adorable in the whole movie and Sully is just another chilled out teenage monster. The movie ended by 8:20 pm and my friends were just so happy to finally eat at Johnny Rockets. We walk into the restaurant and seated ourselves. When the waiter arrived he handed us our menus and asked us what drinks we'd like. My friend and I both got water while my third friend chose a Coke. Then we all looked at the menu for a good ten minutes and decided that we would share a plate of bacon cheese fries (yum) and each of us got a Smokehouse Single, which is a burger with barbecue sauce, bacon, and onion rings. Everything was delicious! Most of the food was gone before we knew it and then when the bill came we decided to split it in three since we ate all the same. So for a Monday, it was a pretty good day just hanging with my friends and having a good time. Thanks for reading guys and have a great day! :)

When you're bored..

Hi guys, I realize I haven't posted in a while. Sorry, unfortunately nothing interesting has happened all week. I have been watching an abundance of movies and I am just waiting for something to happen. So far I've seen movies like Friends with Benefits, Project X, Somethings Gotta Give, The Guilt Trip, Pitch Perfect, and many more that I can't really remember. They're all good movies, I'm happy to say I was entertained by all of them. Also, as you recall in my first post I said that I would be talking about my hopeful adventures.. Well, so far I've had a few.. Well maybe just the concert.. I don't know. I will try to have more adventures soon or so help me I shall die of boredom. Thanks for reading and have a nice day!

Take Me Home Tour 2013

So I'm going to start off by saying that last night was the best night of my life! It was so much fun and the guys were amazing! I have to say that when they first came out I was in complete shock. I have been their fan for about 2 and a half years now and seeing them live for the first time was unbelievable! There was no words for how happy I was. Louis, Zayn, Liam, Niall and Harry are all very talented and driven by their music. They made the night fun and exciting, I was on my feet the whole time! Those boys really know how to spark up a night (literally)! Oh, and one more amazing thing happened! Niall Horan waved at me and Harry Styles looked directly at me! It was unbelievable and I couldn't have asked for a better day! Can't wait to do it all next year! Thank you One Direction! Take Me Home Tour 2013 was incredible!! :D

The 1D Part of My Day

So guys, today was a little crazy. You see, I have tickets to go to One Directions concert on Friday and the guys already got here today at like 4:30 in the morning! Now I wake up and see all these pictures of them at the airport with fans and all that. Now I'm thinking to myself, how on earth did these girls know that they were coming today if they came on a private jet? Then, everyone is trying to figure out which hotel they are staying in. My friends and I are like frustrated trying to figure it out and its hard work! I finally find out which hotel they are staying in and an enormous smile creeps on my face! Turns out that my moms boyfriend is a chef at that hotel! The first thing I do is call my mom and confirm that that is the hotel he works at. And it is! She told me she would ask him to see if he can pull some strings and get me in and just having that little amount of hope to meet One Direction just made my day! After all the madness that I caused, I told the good news to my friends and the freaking out like tripled. Now we have these guys touring around our city and us wishing we had a car and wishing we could drive without annoying our parents. Well, for now our parents will have to deal with our shenanigans until we move out. Hope you guys found this part of my day interesting, funny, or you know, just something that kept you entertained. My Day! and... CAKE BOSS!

Hiiii! Well, the weather in my city hasn't been the best this season. Yesterday I went to my brothers university to do some community service and work on their garden. The farthest we got to doing something is taking out the gardening supplies. It wouldn't stop pouring outside! We spent like an hour and a half inside talking about whatever came to mind just to pass the time, but when we saw that the rain wasn't going to stop anytime soon we just decided to postpone the work. I still haven't been notified as to when we are going to continue the work in the garden but by the looks of the sky and the weather predictions on the news, I don't think it would be anytime soon. I then spent the rest of my day with one of my best friends, Netflix! I wasn't sure what I wanted to watch and I was so hungry but as always there was no food in my house. So to keep my mind busy I started watching Cake Boss. One of my friends makes a lot of cakes and she had told me she got some of her ideas from the show so I was curious about it and gave it a shot. I ended up watching like 10 episodes and completely forgot how hungry I was. I would say Cake Boss is a great show! I only watched a few episodes but I can tell it can inspire a future baker, make you laugh, and if you're like me, make you forget about your never-ending hunger. Just to let you know! I LOVE Doctor Who!

I realized there is something I forgot to mention in my previous post. I, stay with me here, am obsessed with the show Doctor Who. If you have seen the show and know what it's about then you probably know where I'm coming from. However, if you haven't seen the show and maybe never heard of it, I really recommend you to watch! My brother was the one who pulled me in (I should really get him back for that). Later on, I was watching episode after episode, season after season until I finally caught up to the episodes played on television. Now I am forced to wait until November for the 50th anniversary (which I am currently dying inside because). Anyway, like I said it is a really fantastic show and heck I think I even got a few A's in science and history because of it! Warning!: If you get hooked like I did, take your time watching each season because then you will just be forced to wait patiently, like the rest of us, til November so yes, you have been warned!

Well as you can see I just started this blog and its safe to say that this will be a new experience for me. Summer has just begun (like literally since today was the last day of school) and as I go on day by day I shall share all my experiences, my likes, my dislikes, and my (hoped for) adventures. I really don't want another do nothing summer where I, well, do nothing.
